privacyannouncement

We're updating our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy to clearly state our commitment: Layermate has never used and will never use your data to train AI models.

Important Clarification

Since Layermate's release, we have never used your conversations, designs, or any other user content to train AI models. Today's update makes this longstanding practice explicit in our legal documents.

Key Updates

Our revised terms now explicitly confirm:

  • No AI training on user data: We have never used and will not use your conversations, designs, or other content to train AI models
  • API privacy protection: Our AI providers (OpenAI, Anthropic, and Google) operate under API terms that prohibit training on customer data
  • Complete retroactive coverage: This policy applies to all user data since Layermate's initial release

How Your Data Is Processed

When you interact with Layermate, your prompts are sent to AI providers through their APIs solely to generate responses. These providers' API terms prohibit them from using this data for model training. Your content remains private and is used only to deliver the service you requested.

For any questions regarding these updates or our privacy practices, please contact us at [email protected].

The updated Terms of Service and Privacy Policy are effective August 14, 2025 for all users.
