This Privacy Policy ("Policy") describes how Layermate, Inc. ("we," "us," or "our") handles personal information in connection with the AI-based design generation service "Layermate," including the web application and Figma plugin (collectively, the "Service").
By using the Service, you agree to the handling of your information as described in this Policy.
1. Information We Collect

- Company/department name (optional)
- Account information
- Billing and payment information (obtained through payment processors such as Stripe)

- Operational logs and activity history
- Token usage and diagnostic data
(3) Design and Conversation Data (AI-Specific Data)
- Text prompts and conversation inputs
- Generated designs
- Images, PDFs, and Figma layers shared within the Service

- Analyzing usage for quality and functionality improvements

3. Disclosure to AI Technology Providers (Important)
To provide AI-based design features, we transmit certain data to third-party AI model providers listed below:
- OpenAI, Inc.
- Anthropic PBC
- Google LLC
Information transmitted may include conversation data, images, and design files.
(1) Explicit Consent Required
By using the Service, you explicitly consent to the following:
- Your input data may be sent to the above AI providers
- Such data may be used by those providers to improve their AI models, depending on each provider's policy
- The providers' respective privacy policies and terms apply
- Data may be processed outside Japan
Users who do not wish to allow model-improvement use may opt out using the method provided by us.
(2) Information Not Shared with AI Providers
We do not share the following with AI providers:
- Email address
- Billing or payment information
- Account credentials
4. Outsourcing to Service Providers
We may outsource certain operations and entrust personal information to service providers such as:
- Cloud infrastructure providers (AWS, Google Cloud, Vercel, Supabase, Resend)
- Payment processors (Stripe)
- Analytics tools (Google Analytics, Sentry)
- Customer support tools (Fillout)
We ensure appropriate confidentiality obligations and security controls when using such providers.
5. Provision to Third Parties
We do not provide personal information to third parties except in the following cases:

6. Joint Use with Parent Company Goodpatch
We may jointly use personal information with our parent company, Goodpatch Inc., and our group companies, Studio Details Inc. and People and Design Inc., for efficient group operations and user support.
